How do I obtain a quote?
3 Easy Steps
1.- Visit the IKEA.com/us website.
2. - Select items and add them to your shopping list based on your local store (Paramus, Elizabeth). When you are complete, print and save this to your computer as a PDF or take a screen shot and upload the file via out convenient quote form.
3. - Receive our quote and schedule our service.
Note: Pax Wardrobes are now marketed primarily on IKEA.com/us as pre designed combinations under 1 article number. Please send that to us and we will send you the shopping list that corresponds with the quote breakdown.
What are your hours of operation?
We operate from 10AM - 6PM, Monday through Saturday.
Why do you have a Project Minimum?
Our company offers our services to many locations, however there are cost that need to be covered to take on small projects (fuel, travel time, tolls, parking, subway). All this is built into the minimum fee so there are no discussions of extras later. The fee quoted is what you pay, no extras. If a product arrives damaged or with missing pieces, we still require a the minimum fee to be paid and there will be credit towards a second trip. The second trip will be a discounted rate.
Do you take on partial jobs (I build my own cabinets, can you hang them - can you just build the cabinets, my contractor will hang them)?
Unfortunately we do not accept projects that are partially completed nor do we accept a partial kitchen job.
- Besta - We do not assemble this product and we wont just mount it to the wall.
- Kitchen Cabinets - A Kitchen project is a 3 step process ( 1.assemble cabinet frames, 2. install cabinet frames and 3. finishings (install doors, drawers, handles, kick plates, counter tops and sink cut out). The assembly of the cabinet frames is just one step. We would only accept the complete project.
How do I Schedule?
Projects are based on a first come / first served basis. We try to plan out the day as well as possible, however some last minute cancellations do free up our time. Your phone call is always welcome at 201-690-5489 to get up to date availability.
Upon completion of the quote, we will offer you our earliest available date and time. We do provide a Specific set time, however some projects can cause delays so allow up to 30 minutes for arrival. If we are running later, we will call with an updated ETA.
The best suggestion is to be flexible and plan ahead allowing at least a 48 hour window. Usually we can accommodate most projects the following day.
Unfortunately we do not schedule a confirmed assembly the same day as delivery. You are welcome to call 201-690-5489 once your delivery arrives and if we have an installer in your area, we will dispatch them if possible.
IMPORTANT - Apartment Renters - "Know your building rules" (accepted days and times that service can be provided and if you need a Certificate of Insurance - COI) before contacting us!
If an insurance document is required, please obtain a copy of the building requirements from your buildings management company and forward them to us. Make sure that it indicates the "Certificate holder" and "Additional Insured". Please email the documents to us as a PDF using our quote form. We require 48 hours to process and deliver a COI.
What should I expect on the assembly day?
Our professional installers arrive with their own tools usually in a backpack and they dress discretely. Most projects require one installer (we will determine if a second installer is required and we will divide the work up for each installer). We will work cleanly and carefully. We will use cardboard that the products were delivered in to protect hardwood surfaces. Our installer(s) will quickly and expertly assemble all your items, break down the boxes, collect other refuse and dispose of it in the designated rubbish area in your home or building (no materials will be taken from your premises). The installer has a mobile credit card reader and can accept Visa, Master Card, Amex or Discover on site at the completion. They will depart and you will be left to enjoy your new furniture items or kitchen space.
